About Stephen

Stephen A. Houston grew up on a small family farm in Lexington, Kentucky raising tobacco, cattle, horses, hogs and hay.  After being the first in his family to complete college, he graduated from law school in 2001. Subsequently, he clerked for judges in Franklin Circuit Court and then prosecuted felonies before joining a large law firm where he practiced for over a decade.  

Now, he has his own private practice in Prospect, Kentucky where he lives with his wife and dogs on a small farm. He married his lovely wife in 2011. She teaches ballet and modern dance at a local public high school. Stephen loves to raise a large vegetable, fruit and herb garden. He also does a lot of canning so that he and his wife can enjoy homegrown, organic food all year.
